Built by one person who answers his own email
G-Work is a product of Glick Holdings, founded by Todd Glick. Glick Holdings is a real company doing consulting and software work, and this platform is where the tools that came out of that work are packaged up so any trade business can use them.
There is no support tier, no offshore ticket queue, and no product committee. If you write in, Todd Glick reads it. If a tool almost does what you need, the person reading your email is the person who can change it, and that is the entire advantage of buying from a shop this size.
Why this exists
Trade businesses get offered two kinds of software. One is an all-in-one platform that costs several hundred a month, takes a quarter to roll out, and does nine things you will never touch to get you the one you needed. The other is a free app that does one thing and forgets it the moment your phone dies.
G-Work is the middle. 12 tools, each one built around a specific thing that costs contractors money: a missed call, a slow estimate, an invoice nobody chased, a punch list that lived on a scrap of plywood. Turn on the one you need. Pay one flat price for it. Leave the rest off.
The tools do talk to each other when you have more than one, because a missed call that does not land in your customer list is a missed call twice. But nothing is bundled and nothing depends on you buying more.
How this gets built
Every tool here is a real working thing, not a mockup with a waiting list behind it. Where a piece is genuinely not finished, it says so on the screen where you would run into it, and it says so on that tool's page before you pay for anything.
That is a deliberate choice. Software sold to contractors has a long history of demos that do more than the product, and a shop that has been burned once is right to be suspicious. The fastest way past that is to be the company that tells you what is missing before you ask.
What gets built next is driven by what people actually ask for. There is no roadmap written by someone who has never been on a job site.
